Should I get the iPhone 8 plus or the iPhone X?

You should get iphone X if you love the new display, the front camera with depth sensing features, don't require fingerprint and are willing to pay for the added cost. Most of the features are same in all three iphone i.e 8,8plus and X. But, screen and added cost will be the actual differentiation.

Why did apple remove home button?

In iphone x home button is removed to make room for bezzel less display.

Is it worth waiting for iphone x?

Sure, why not. iphone x is the only one that is worth an upgrade if you are using an old iphone 7 or older.

Should I buy the iPhone 8/8 Plus or wait for the x?

That depends if you have an iphone 7 or 7 plus, then go for iphone x any older iphone owner or android phone usser can go for any new iphone 8 or iphone x model.

Allways wait for the new one. If you have budget constraints then go for the older version
