India's Smartphone revolution:

India's smartphone market is booming and has now attention of all major companies around the world. India is the only country in World that has shown the highest potential to become a successful digital economy. Few days back while reading another article about the same thing, I thought to present my own view on the same. Being an engineer I always liked the point system.
1. One billion people in India do not even own a smartphone.
2. 600 million mobile phone usser and 350 million of them have smartphone, according to counterpoint research.
3. 66% of mobile ussers are still don't have internet access. But, that wont be an issue for a long term because of the present price war going on in country between telecos. India has cheapest data rates in the world.
4. India has lot of languages, so that pose as a roadblock for growth. As internet is still in english for lot of Indian consumers, so it acts as a gatekeeper. But, companies like micromax(Indian Smartphone Manufacturer) is working with the developers of Indus OS to bring the next big change.

5. Unlike US markets where Apple and Samsung account for 70% of the smartphone market. India is open to new entrants and are doing quite well in accepting new companies with open arms.

The sale of new iPhone started at 6 pm IST on 29 September. Phone would be available both online and offline. Previously phone was available for pre order from 22 Sept via online and offline channels. With pixel 2 event scheduled next month one will wonder what Google has hidden behind the curtains.

Google pixel 2 and Pixel 2 Xl will be introduced. With rumors like LG and HTC making the phones, some features like squeezable border functionality will come to these phones.

2. Google Home: New version

Google home came last year now they are expected to go smaller and classier. It seems this year Google home will improve and will let us do more by helping us doing less. lets see what will happen at the time of event.


3. New Chromebooks

Every year it seems Chromebooks are getting better but still i have not yet ever thought of replacing them with traditional laptops. But, this year Chromebooks can comeback with the must needed punch that everyone is expecting.

4. New Software Marvel

In the end, Google is a software company first. So it wont be wrong if they pull off something which was not hardware but software miracle.
